‘He Isn’t Getting Talked About Enough’ – Fans Call Out Suprising Lack of Jaxson Dart Chatter Before NFL Draft

Ole Miss Star quarterback Jaxson Dart has had an impressive career in the SEC the past three seasons. Fans are ready to see his draft stock rise.

Ole Miss Star quarterback Jaxson Dart has had an impressive career in the SEC the past three seasons. This year, he led the Ole Miss Rebels to a 9-3 record, and while they did not qualify for the college football playoff, it was still a strong season. He then helped the Rebels finish the season strong with a 52-20 victory over Duke in the Gator Bowl. He completed 27 of 35 passing attempts for 404 yards and four TDs in the game.

While Dart is viewed as a great quarterback, he is not often included among the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. With Dart set to enter the draft, some fans have started to call out the lack of chatter around him.

Fans Praise NFL Draft Prospect Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart is an interesting prospect who has apparently now been getting talked about enough. After his impressive game, which included a highlight throw that you can see below, fans came out of the woodwork to support Dart and question where he is going to land in the NFL draft.

One of the more prominent was Emmanuel Acho.

“How is Jaxson Dart not being talked about like a top 10 overall pick? Ole Miss fans, what am I missing?? We only talk about Shedeur and Cam Ward, but this Dart kid is out here SLINGING IT!!” he posted on social media.

“He isn’t getting talked about enough as an NFL prospect,” one fan wrote.

“Will be a great late-round pickup that could be developed. If I’m a team like the Seahawks or Rams I’m taking a good look at him,” one fan commented.

“The best QB prospect in the draft and a future Josh Allen,” one fan added.

Many fans continued to praise him on X, saying he deserves to be drafted.

“If im jets im drafting him,” one fan wrote. “Sure woulda been cool to see what he would’ve done in the playoff,” one fan commented.

Dart has long seen success on the football field. If his last name wasn’t evidence enough, Dart was born to be a quarterback. As a senior at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, he broke the state record for passing touchdowns in a season with 67 and also threw for 4,691 yards — winning the Gatorade Player of the Year award at a national level.

Dart’s first year with the Rebels was up and down. The team went 7-5 under his watch, while he himself completed 62.4% of his passes for 2,964 yards, 20 TDs, and 11 INTs. But in 2023, Dart took a step up and brought the Rebels to the brink of playoff contention.

In 2023, Dart completed 233 of 358 pass attempts (65.1%) for 3,364 yards, 23 scores, and just five picks. On the ground, he added 389 yards and eight additional TDs. Dart led Ole Miss to an 11-2 record and a Peach Bowl victory over Penn State, earning honorable mention All-SEC recognition at College Football Network.
