MSN Slideshow Every NFL Team That Has Never Won a Super Bowl By Pro Football Network FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail January 23, 2025 | 11:30 AM EST Share FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail 1 of 11 In the last 64 years, ever since they played their first season in 1960, the Buffalo Bills have yet to win a Super Bowl. Winning a Super Bowl is not easy, but given that the Bills are the only team in history to make it to the game four years in a row, it's astounding they didn't win even one. Since they debuted in 1961, the Vikings have yet to win a Super Bowl. They have four Super Bowl appearances, all between 1969 and 1976. The Cincinnati Bengals have yet to achieve their first Super Bowl victory. The franchise debuted in 1968, eventually reaching the Super Bowl twice in the 1980s, losing both to the 49ers. They returned to the Super Bowl in 2021 against the Rams, but the result was the same. For such a young franchise, debuting in 1995, the Panthers have had quite a bit of success. Carolina has made 8 Playoff appearances, reaching the Super Bowl twice, but were unable to win it in either time. Another NFC team yet to win the Super Bowl is the Falcons. Since 1966, they've made two Super bowls, failing to win either. But they certainly should have one, blowing a 28-3 fourth quarter lead to Tom Brady's Patriots in Super Bowl LI. The Titans have been around since 1960, originally the Houston Oilers. Their only Super Bowl appearance came in the 2000 season, when they famously came up one yard short, falling to the Rams 23-16. The Cardinals are the oldest NFL team, playing their first season in 1920. Over the last 84 years of their NFL tenure, the team has reached the final game just once in its history, losing in heartbreaking fashion on Santonio Holmes' incredible toe tapping grab in the back of the end zone. The Chargers have always been underachievers. They made it to back-to-back AFC championship games in 1980 and '81 but lost in both occasions. They made it to the Super Bowl just once in their existence, but haven't been able to lift the trophy. For much of their existence, the Lions have not been serious contenders. They have won 10+ games just 7 times and are yet to even make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win it. Their best chance came this past season when they won 15 games, but lost an NFC Divisional game against the Commanders. Like Texans and Panthers, the Jaguars are also one of the newer franchises in the NFL. They made it to the AFC Championship twice and lost both times, The Jags are yet to record their first Super Bowl apperance. The Texans are one of the expansion franchises that came into existence in 2002. They have never even made an AFC Championship Game.
