While the Philadelphia Eagles successfully secured a 22-16 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, wide receiver A.J. Brown has divided the NFL world following the postgame press conference. Brown was asked what the offense could improve, to which he replied by saying, “passing.”
This came after the wide receiver expressed frustration during the game by slamming his helmet on the sideline. Talking about the incident, he blamed the outburst on the “three and out.”
While various fans and analysts reacted differently to the statement, Emmanuel Acho validated Brown’s frustration with an analytical video.
Emmanuel Acho Reacts to A.J. Brown’s Complaints Against the Eagles’ Offense
Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been struggling the past two games, with just 226 passing yards over two games, completing 25 of 40 passes, the former Alabama/Oklahoma star has triggered a reaction from Brown.
Brown’s frustration was justified. Hurts had difficulty finding him in the game — on the second play of the day, the WR streaked wide open.
The Eagles have turned A.J Brown into a track athlete, just getting cardio.
If you’re a competitor, watch this, and tell me you wouldn’t be furious too. 🤬#AchoAnalysis | @TheFacilityFS1 10am pic.twitter.com/sasqpNV1ab

Not only Brown, wide receiver DeVonta Smith also echoed Brown’s statement and said, “We can do a lot better. Pass game we can be a lot better … We didn’t play up to our standard.”
The Eagles had just 83 passing yards in Sunday’s game (Hurts was sacked four times for 25 yards), triggering a reaction from Acho, a former Eagles LB. Acho bluntly said, “The Eagles have turned A.J. Brown into a track athlete, just getting cardio.”
Acho: “Of course, A.J. Brown, the man in the pink cleats, is upset. If he weren’t upset, he wouldn’t be human. I’m gonna show you all about six plays right now. Back foot. Jalen, you’re looking at him. Get rid of the ball, Jalen. He’s open. He’s gonna come back to the ball. Get rid of the ball. Jalen, if A.J. Brown were not upset, he wouldn’t freaking be human.”
The Eagles will now potentially work on their passing before going against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Week 15 showdown.
