It was a relief to see Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore walk off under his own power after his face hit hard into the turf late in the first half Thursday night.
His night is done, however.
The Browns have ruled Moore out with a concussion.
Here’s the latest information we have on Moore’s injury.

“Elijah Moore appears to have suffered a concussion with possible seizure,” sports and family medicine physician Jesse Morse wrote on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“There was some spasticity of his arms that was likely involuntary. These symptoms don’t correlate with ‘severity’ of concussion.”

Moore was hurt on his fifth catch of the night, stepping up in a big way after the Browns ruled Amari Cooper out with a heel injury. Cleveland worked Cooper out pregame, but he just didn’t meet the health threshold to play.
Moore entered Thursday night’s game with 54 catches for 579 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Implications of Elijah Moore’s Injury
With Cooper out due to a heel injury, Moore was operating as the Browns’ WR1. It was a quiet start to his night, but he was starting to heat up, catching five balls for 61 yards and a touchdown before he was forced from the game.
Without Moore, Joe Flacco will continue to lean on David Njoku and Jerome Ford out of the backfield. Marquise Goodwin replaced Moore in the lineup, but neither he nor rookie Cedric Tillman has any fantasy value, even with the Browns down their top two receivers.
