Seahawks’ Super Bowl Rings Resembling Eagles’ Draws Reactions From NFL World

Sam Darnold and the Seahawks took the Patriots to task this past February at Levi’s Stadium, ending their six-game winning streak with a commanding 29-13 win. Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for more than twice the number of yards that both the Patriots’ running backs did.

After conquering the most dangerous division in football, the NFC West, and then hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, the players and coaches received a ring as impressive as their accomplishments.

“It’s all about the details for the Seattle Seahawks,” NFL on ESPN captioned a video with the players’ reactions.

The video captured the ring ceremony, with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s amazed reaction in focus. He later shares a moment with Darnold, both of them ecstatic about their new jewelry.

The NFL world on social media poured in with a wide range of reactions.

“These are sweet,” journalist Michael Beck posted on X. “But I still don’t like when teams put multiple trophies on the face of the ring. Not one player were apart of both teams. From a player’s sense, it looks kinda weird.”

“The tried to copy the the Eagles with the pop out,” JD Davis noted.

The rings were created by Jason of Beverly Hills, a famous jeweler who is renowned for his sports championship rings. Inspired by the architecture of the Seahawks’ home field, Lumen Field, the rings include blue sapphires, among many other intricate details.

“IT’S BEAUTIFUL,” Le Spoon posted with a GIF of an emotional Danny DeVito.

“Damn those rings are absolutely insane,” Wild Express said. “The skyline + removable top that turns into a pendant with game-used leather? Jason went crazy with this one. 12s deserved every bit of this after that season. Congrats Seahawks!”

While some might roll their eyes at details that resemble the Eagles’ Super Bowl 59 rings, the Seahawks will nonetheless have a great time with their new showpieces.
