After Eagles Star Talks Trash About Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Relationship, Chiefs Fans and Swifties Flood His Mother’s Restaurant With Bad Reviews

After C.J. Gardner-Johnson of the Eagles spoke about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Swifties slammed Johnson's mother's restaurant with poor reviews.

Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift have allegedly left unfounded bad reviews on Philadelphia Eagles’ safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant in Florida. The complaints allegedly range from poor service to terrible food. The allegations are believed to be unfounded, and Kelce and Swift are asking for the negative information to be discontinued. They are showing their support for the King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida.

Chiefs Fans Disparage C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s Mom’s Restaurant in Florida on Social Media

The game might have been played at a neutral site in New Orleans, but the ramifications were felt all the way in a small restaurant located in Rockledge, Florida.

Gardner-Johnson took a shot at the NFL’s first couple and their fans have felt an obligation to the tight end and pop star and a need to retaliate against Gardner-Johnson, in the form of his mother’s restaurant.

The Gardner-Johnson chirping started in the hours following Philly’s dismantling of Kansas City, 40-22, in Super Bowl 59.

The defensive back shared a photo of him in front of the tight end during the big game, and captioned it, “Should’ve Stayed w that thick s***” — an apparent reference to Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole.

The Florida restaurant, which is owned by Delatron Johnson — was repeatedly called horrible … and slapped with dozens of one-star reviews.

The onslaught of remarks posted on Yelp have been flagged and taken down. The extraordinary amount of posts and negative comments were also removed from Google.

Gardner-Johnson nor his mother have commented on the actions, but it is very possible that when it does happen, it will be met by comments from Swifties everywhere. Chiefs Kingdom will also not accept any retaliation as well.

In a 2023 interview with Florida Today, Johnson discussed establishing her previous coffee shop, Café Krewe 22, in 2020 when her son was on the New Orleans Saints football team. Following Gardner-Johnson’s departure from the team, Johnson launched King’s Grill, with “King” being her son’s childhood nickname and the middle name of her grandson, Cayden.

“I’m still pinching myself, coming from the background I have,” Johnson said about opening the restaurant at the time. “This comes from being told I couldn’t and I wouldn’t. My hustle is personal.”
