Brandon Graham Having Retirement Conversations After Super Bowl Win

Graham has experienced a roller-coaster NFL career with the Eagles but has a chance to end it on the highest of highs. He just completed his 15th season with the team and won a second Super Bowl.

Graham overcame a torn triceps from Week 12 to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9. The Eagles activated Graham from injured reserve the day before the Super Bowl after he had missed nine games, including the playoffs.

During an appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP on Feb. 11, Graham shared his initial thoughts about his future.

“Me and wifey, we sat up last night and talked a little bit. You know, we getting the conversations going on, what’s real and what’s real right now,” Graham said. “This is a fairy tale story right now for me, you know what I’m saying? … I mean, get hurt, come back, play in the last game, Super Bowl, and be dominant in that with the guys, like, you know, to be a part of all that.”

“Like, I’m considering all that, man, I’m gonna talk with Howie [Roseman] and the team, see what’s up. Because, man, I mean, the goal was to win one. You know what I’m saying? And, of course, I still feel like I got a lot in the tank still. But I want to make sure I go about this the right way,” he continued.

Graham returned to play 13 defensive snaps in the Super Bowl. He recorded one solo tackle while the Eagles defensive front dominated the Chiefs.

During the 2024 regular season, Graham posted 3.5 sacks with six tackles for loss and seven quarterback hits. He’s registered 76.5 sacks in 206 NFL career games.

    Graham’s Career With Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles drafted Graham at No. 13 overall in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. While he started six games as a rookie, he didn’t become a regular starter until his sixth season.

But then his career took off. Graham made second-team All-Pro in 2016. He then set a new career high with 9.5 sacks and helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl during the 2017-18 campaign.

Graham made his first Pro Bowl in 2020. In 2022, he reached another career high with 11 sacks.

In addition to 76.5 career sacks, Graham has 126 tackles for loss, 153 quarterback hits, 22 forced fumbles, and 11 pass defenses in his career. He’s started 106 regular season contests.

If Graham has played his final game, he will forever hold a special place in Eagles history. No one has appeared in more regular-season contests for the franchise than Graham. He’s third on the team’s all-time sacks list.

Graham is also one of four players who participated in both Super Bowl championships in Philadelphia’s franchise history. The other three are offensive tackle Lane Johnson, kicker Jake Elliott, and long snapper Rick Lovato. Graham will be an unrestricted free agent in March.
