With the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs getting ready to kick off for Super Bowl 59, media day is providing plenty of opportunities for discussions — both of on-the-field and off-the-field varieties.
Eagles star tight end Dallas Goedert admitted that he doesn’t listen to pop icon Taylor Swift as he can’t name any of her songs and says that she isn’t on his playlist.
Dallas Goedert Admits He Doesn’t Know Much About Travis Kelce’s Celebrity Partner Taylor Swift
Eagles star tight end Dallas Goedert was asked about Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, and he appeared to have very little knowledge of who she is as an artist. In fact, he even mistook Swift for “TLC,” saying, “Is she the one that sings ‘Don’t go chasing waterfalls?'” — aka the group’s hit song “Waterfalls.”
After mistaking the two, he then added, “She’s an incredible artist, but she ain’t on my playlist,” saying that he listens to more of the “Philly guys” such as Meek Mill.

While it may not be his cup of tea, at least he was respectful, even if it’s extremely surprising that he doesn’t know much about one of the biggest artists in the world.
Eagles Fans Troll Taylor Swift
A report posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) suggested Eagles fans are wearing Taylor Swift T-shirts, but they don’t capture her song lyrics.
Eagles fans are known to be brash and raucous, so a gesture like this directed at the Chiefs’ star tight end’s significant other shouldn’t come as a surprise.
No one knows the origin of the T-shirt, but many Chiefs fans aren’t happy and thought it was classless for Eagles fans to put out this kind of T-shirt.
NFL Fans React on Social Media
Chiefs fans came to Swift’s defense once they saw the T-shirt, meanwhile, Eagles fans didn’t see anything wrong with it.
“All that does is poke the bear. They’re tugging on Superman’s cape,” one fan said.
“Apparently, there is in Philadelphia. They’ve lowered the bar so low they might have to hire South Park’s James Cameron to go down in the submarine and raise the bar again? Philadelphia Eagles fans are unconscionable.”

Eagles fans and even non-Eagles fans think this is an overreaction, and many want to know where they can purchase the T-shirt.

Another fan highlighted their take on the culture of an ultra-competitive sport like football.
This guy is kidding right??? There is no place for Betas Boys in Men’s sports.
I’m soooo sick of guys like this -who have never played organized sports, especially football, a day in their life- constantly crying, whining, criticizing others, and the worst part:

As you can see, there are some very strong opinions on both sides of the argument.
