Who Will the Eagles Play Next? Divisional Round Opponent Set in 2025 Bracket

With three potential opponents awaiting the Philadelphia Eagles if they make the Divisional Round, who are they, and what are the chances of each?

The Philadelphia Eagles put together an impressive 14-3 season, which saw them finish as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. That left them with a repeat of their Week 1 matchup as they defeated the Green Bay Packers at home, 22-10, to kick off the NFC’s part of Wild Card Weekend.

Now that  Wild Card Weekend is in the books, we know who the Eagles will play in the Divisional Round. Using the Pro Football Network NFL Playoff Predictor, let’s examine the playoff bracket for the Eagles as we move forward in the NFL postseason.

What Are the Philadelphia Eagles’ Playoff Scenarios?

As the No. 2 seed, the Eagles entered Monday Night Football with two potential opponents in the Divisional Round. The loss by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday and the win by the Los Angeles Rams on Monday means that the Rams will travel east to Philadelphia next weekend to take on the Eagles.

That game will be played at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Pro Football Network NFL Playoff Predictor gives the Eagles a 63% chance of winning.

Back in Week 11, the Eagles traveled to SoFi Stadium in Southern California to take on the Rams on Sunday Night Football. In that game, presumptive Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley ran for 255 yards and two touchdowns as the Eagles defeated the Rams 37-20.

With both defenses playing better of late, expect a more competitive game next weekend.

Could the Eagles Host the NFC Championship Game?

The Eagles are in a relatively good position when it comes to having a chance of hosting the NFC Championship Game. However, they would need the help of another team in the Divisional Round. Philadelphia would need the Commanders to go into Detroit and beat the Lions, which is a tough ask. The PFN Playoff Predictor gives an early win probability of just 35% for the Commanders.

If Washington was to beat Detroit in the Divisional Round, the Eagles would then be the highest-remaining seed in the NFC bracket, which would mean they would host the NFC Championship Game.
