    Owain Jones’ 3-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Eagles Land Cooper DeJean

    The Eagles have shown a ton of interest in the top cornerbacks in this year’s draft class. Pro Football Network’s Owain Jones released his latest mock draft and has Philadelphia selecting Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean with the No. 22 overall selection. DeJean would be a perfect fit in Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s scheme.

    Eagles 2024 NFL Draft Prospect Visit Tracker: Who Is Philadelphia Interested In?

    Twenty-seven of Philadelphia’s 30 visits have been reported during the pre-draft process. Based on the team’s reported visits, it’s clear that the Eagles are preparing to select a cornerback and an offensive lineman early in the 2024 NFL Draft. Yet, Philadelphia also showed interest in several of the top edge rushers in this year’s draft class as well. It will be interesting to see what the Eagles will do in this year’s event.

    One cornerback that the Eagles hosted on a 30 visit was Mississippi State’s Decamerion Richardson. Ironically enough, Matt Miller of ESPN mentioned Richardson as a player to keep an eye on in the 2024 NFL Draft. Miller reported that Richardson was a favorite among several staffs around the league following his visits and meetings with teams. He could be a potential target for the Eagles with the No. 120 pick in the fourth round.

    Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts donated $200,000 to 10 different schools in Philadelphia for new air conditioning systems. Hurts noticed the issues with air conditioning in a recent visit to the schools and knew he had the capabilities to address the problem. Philadelphia’s starting quarterback explained how he sees so much potential in the children attending these schools and wanted to provide help in any way that he could.
