Eagles Star’s Mother Fires Back at Chiefs Fans, Swifties for Fake Negative Restaurant Reviews

Swifties have targeted C.J. Gardner-Johnson's mother's restaurant in Florida after comments the Eagles' star said to Travis Kelce.

Philadelphia Eagles star C.J. Gardner-Johnson came under fire from Taylor Swift fans, also known as Swifties, after he reportedly told Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce following the Super Bowl that he should have stayed with ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.

Swifties have decided to target Gardner-Johnson’s mom, Delatron Johnson’s restaurant, and she has decided to fight back against them.

What Did the Swifties Do to C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s Mom’s Restaurant?

Swifties targeted Johnson’s Florida restaurant, The Kings Grill, and left nasty reviews of it. At first, Johnson thought someone had broken in, but then she found out Swifties had done it.

But Johnson says the joke is on them.

“I have friends who were sending me the screenshots,” Delatron told TMZ. “They were going, ‘Oh my god, look at this!’ And the first thing everyone said was, ‘The Swifties have attacked.’

“Yes, we’ve seen all the reviews. The joke is really on the Swifties and everyone entertaining the reviews because Kings Grill is closed.”

It’s been closed since Jan. 25.

Johnson broke the news that she and her husband are opening up a new restaurant, where they held a Super Bowl watch party to take in the Eagles’ 40-22 win.

“There is really no backlash because we are in the process of selling Kings Grill anyways,” she said. “It didn’t affect us one way or another.”

Johnson didn’t apologize for her son’s trash talk either. In fact, she defended it.

“We’ve been dealing with this since he was a kid,” she said, adding that her son hasn’t changed how he plays football or trash talks since he was young.

“He talks the talk ’cause he can back it up. The same thing with his mother: I talk the talk because I can back it up.”

The reviews were so bad that Yelp disabled them.

“This business recently received increased public attention, which often means people come to this page to post their views on the news,” a warning on the site read.

When Eagles fans found out what was happening, they came to Johnson’s rescue with their own positive reviews.

There hasn’t been a comment from the Swift or Kelce camps about what’s going on with the Swifties, who have been known in the past to take things a bit too far, especially when it came to Kelce’s ex, Nicole.

Nicole has said in the past that the Swifties have targeted her because of her relationship with the Chiefs tight end, and it’s apparent that they still will target others who they deem a threat to the Swift/Kelce relationship.
