Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott is coming off a rough 2024 season where he played in only eight games before suffering a partially torn hamstring. The team floundered to a 7-10 finish without him and things went from bad to worse as the Philadelphia Eagles went on to win Super Bowl 59.
Prescott was recently in the Bahamas and caught some heat from a group of Eagles fans. The nine-year veteran wasn’t expecting to be heckled while on vacation, but apparently, Philadelphia fans never take a day off.

Dallas selected Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and named him the starter after Tony Romo was injured in a preseason game. The Cowboys won the NFC East with a 13-3 record and Prescott was named Offensive Rookie of the Year and made the Pro Bowl. He threw for 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns, and four interceptions that year, and the future looked bright for the rookie signal-caller.
The 2019 campaign was Prescott’s best statistical season so far, with Prescott throwing for 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He was somehow not named to the Pro Bowl that season and Dallas placed the franchise tag on him the following offseason. He made $31.4 million under the tag in 2020 and got off to a hot start, throwing for 450 yards or more three of the first five games.
Unfortunately, his season ended in Week 5 against the Giants after he fractured and dislocated his right ankle. The Cowboys franchise-tagged him again following the season, but the subsequently came to agreement with Prescott on a four-year, $160 million extension.
Prescott returned in 2021, throwing for 4,449 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Dallas won the NFC East that season and made the playoffs the following two years, but it couldn’t get past the Divisional Round in either campaign.
Prescott had another impressive season in 2023, throwing for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns. He was rewarded with a four-year, $240 million extension with $231 guaranteed. This made him the highest-paid player per year in the NFL, averaging $60 million a season.
His momentum did not carry into 2024, as the team was 3-4 heading into Week 9. Prescott started against the Atlanta Falcons but left after the hamstring injury. He was inactive the following week and then put on season-ending injured reserve. Prescott recently made a trip to the Bahamas and couldn’t escape a bachelorette party that happened to consist of Eagles fans.
This bachelorette party spotted Dak Prescott at a casino in the Bahamas and hit him with an E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! chant and “Go Birds!”. 😂🦅

The group hit Prescott with the “E-A-G-L-E-S” chant with one shouting “Go Birds!” as he walked by. He’s been successful against Philadelphia in his career, forging a 9-4 record. However, the Eagles’ Super Bowl 59 victory has made their fans bold. Dallas has work to do to compete in 2025, and Prescott has to prove he’s worth the major contract he signed.
in his latest mock draft, PFSN’s Ian Cummings predicts the team will give its signal-caller some help. Cummings predicts the Cowboys will take Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden with the 12th overall pick ahead of what shapes up as a pivotal season for Prescott and new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
