Dynasty Fantasy Football Week 15 Report: Buy Low, Sell High Targets Include Stefon Diggs, Rachaad White, and Others

    Published on

After 14 weeks in the 2023 regular season, we take a look at how fantasy values have shifted for several RBs and WRs in dynasty leagues.

The fantasy football season is rapidly passing us by. We’re in the final month of the year, which means it’s time to look in the mirror about your season with a critical eye. Dynasty managers especially need to know when to buy or sell.

Playmakers continue to make a name for themselves. If you have one of the rising young bucks, hold them dearly. Unless, of course, it’s time to sell high.

    Dynasty Risers After Week 14

    Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Another auspicious start to the season that featured three finishes outside the top 30 in the first four weeks had fantasy managers scared for their Drake London stock. His WR6 performance against Washington helped restore faith in London’s ability to anchor a lineup, but the inconsistency continued until this past week.

Week 14 was London’s magnum opus, catching 10 of 11 targets for 172 yards. The 6’4″ playmaker has continued to show these blinding flashes of dominance, but QB play and uneven play-calling have made it tough for him to be the league-winner he could become.

There’s no guarantee he’ll ever get the targets he needs each week, but this past week helped remind managers why London is a valued asset.

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The season’s first five games seemed to highlight Rachaad White’s limitations of being a fantasy back. His inefficiency behind a porous offensive line in a mediocre attack made him a volume-based back.

However, since Week 7, White has been a can’t-miss performer. In that timeframe, he’s finished no lower than RB19 in PPR leagues. Though his RB1 peak came in Week 9, White found his ceiling again in Week 14 with an RB4 finish. He totaled 135 yards on 27 touches, adding his second receiving score of the year.

    Dynasty Fallers After Week 14

    Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills

Is the end of the line coming for Stefon Diggs? Considering his lack of production over the last month and his brother’s tweet about exiting town, things could be headed that way. Since Week 10, Diggs has finished above WR44 only once, struggling to maintain the same catch efficiency that helped him become an All-Pro star.

Maybe this is merely a blip, but with Diggs’ age (30), bloated salary ($27.85 million cap hit in 2024), and declining production, it’s hard to view him as a long-term asset in dynasty leagues. He caught a season-low four passes for 24 yards in Week 14.

    D’Andre Swift, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Notching his third straight finish outside the top 30 backs, the D’Andre Swift chapter in Philadelphia has quickly devolved into a troublesome time. It’s likely not a coincidence that his dip mirrors Jalen Hurts’ injury and the team’s overall struggles. But it’s not a good sign for Swift’s long-term fit with the team that he can’t continue a high level of production when the offense isn’t rolling.

With only 31 carries and three receptions for 163 yards over the last three games, Swift looks more likely to be replaced by fresh legs this offseason than to be extended. The Eagles have squeezed as much as they can out of the veteran.

    Dynasty Buy-Low Trade Targets

Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Everyone knows that Kenneth Walker III has dealt with injuries this season, and the Seahawks’ entire offense has been disappointing. Returning from a two-week hiatus, he saw only 12 touches for 54 yards against the 49ers. Still, he finished as RB25 despite the offensive woes around him.

Managers might tire of his injuries and the team’s identity crisis despite the solid finish. Walker is still a significant asset for the next few years, so try to see if he’s distressed enough to buy low.

    Dynasty Sell-High Trade Targets

    Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos

The rate at which Courtland Sutton is scoring is unbelievable. He has 10 touchdowns on only 53 receptions and 79 targets through 13 games. There have been only a few other examples in NFL history of such efficiency, including Jerry Rice’s 22 touchdowns on 63 receptions, Bill Gorman’s 17 touchdowns on 50 receptions, Will Fuller’s seven scores on 28 catches, and Eric Ebron’s 12 TDs on 63 catches.

Maybe Sutton will continue this bender throughout the rest of Russell Wilson’s career with the Broncos, but it’s more likely he’ll regress next year.
