    What Is Drew Lock’s Salary and Contract?

    Lock was born on Nov. 10, 1996, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He attended Lee’s Summit High School, where he passed for 2,731 yards and 28 touchdowns in his senior season.

    After his high school career, Lock was rated as a four-star recruit by 247 Sports. He was also a two-star basketball prospect but retired from the sport. Lock went on to sign with and play for the University of Missouri.

    The QB spent four seasons with the Tigers, where he passed for 12,193 yards, 99 touchdowns, and 39 interceptions. He also added 437 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.

    Lock’s career collegiate record as a starting quarterback was 21-25. He first earned the starting job for the final eight games of 2015.

    In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Lock was taken by the Denver Broncos. He spent three seasons with the Broncos before being traded to the Seahawks prior to the 2022 season.

    When Lock was traded, he took the opportunity to go on social media to express how excited he was.

Thank you for welcoming me to your great city and first class organization,” Lock wrote via X (formerly Twitter) statement. “You have set the standard of winning, I understand where that bar is set. Can’t wait to play in the loudest stadium in front of the best fans in the NFL! I respect the history, excited for the opportunity to write more, wearing the #2.

    In his career, Lock has passed for 4,806 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions. His record as a starting NFL QB is 8-13. He has yet to start a game for Seattle.

    Lock is currently on a one-year deal worth $4 million. It includes a $1.74 million base salary and a $1.75 million signing bonus. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2024 when he is 28 years old.

    Lock’s rookie contract that he signed with the Broncos earned him $5,787,902 in his three seasons. The contract he signed was a four-year, $7 million deal.

    Lock was traded to Seattle as a part of a trade including Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, a 2022 first-round pick, a 2023 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, a 2023 second-round pick, and a 2022 fifth-round pick for Russell Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round pick.

    The results of those draft picks were Devon Witherspoon, Charles Cross, Derick Hall, and Boye Mafe. The Broncos took Eyioma Uwazurike with their fourth-round selection.
