While Maye’s AFC lost 76-63 against the NFC, the 22-year-old fully took advantage of his time in Florida. Being coached by one of the greatest quarterbacks in the NFL’s history; Peyton Manning wasn’t enough for him, and he started building the roster for the next season.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Maye appeared on the “Up & Adams” show and revealed his methods to lure the stars from other teams to the Patriots.

“I definitely got to know some of the guys,” he said. “Talking a little bit about Boston, about Foxboro, [Mass.,] about Gillette [Stadium] a little bit. About the fanbase.”

“Definitely time to get to some guys and let them know that the Pats got some things to make some moves this offseason.”

Maye was also joined by Brenden Schooler in the special teams as the only two representing the Patriots in this year’s Pro Bowl. With a large cap space and a new head coach, Maye is not looking to leave anything to chance in the next season.

“Last night, I saw Drake Maye having a conversation with Baker Mayfield,” Manning said. “To me, there’s room for that in a young quarterback, like Drake Maye learning how to be a pro, learning how to go through a coaching change, which Baker Mayfield has done several times. That’s the value.”

Maye registered 2,276 yards and 15 touchdowns along with 421 rushing yards and two rushing TDs in 13 games this season. Fans would want Maye to learn from his experience and take the Patriots to their former glory sooner rather than later.
