The Super Bowl always attracts the biggest stars in the world, and this week’s game in New Orleans is no different. There is one exception to that rule this year, with one of the biggest names showing up to the game, as President Donald Trump will be at Super Bowl 59.
He will become the first sitting United States President to attend the Super Bowl. Multiple Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles players were asked about Trump’s attendance.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was asked what his thoughts were about Trump being at Super Bowl 59, to which he acknowledged that it is a big moment for the President to attend the Super Bowl for the first time. For Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, playing in front of a sitting or former President is a unique experience, regardless of the individual.
During this year’s Super Bowl media availability, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was asked about his thoughts on President Trump attending the Super Bowl to watch the Eagles and Chiefs play. His response was short and concise: “He’s welcome to do whatever he wants,” Hurts said. Who does President Trump predict will win Super Bowl 59?

The PFSN Playoff Predictor Win Probability Metric gives the Eagles a 52.8% chance to win and the Chiefs a 47.2% chance, but it looks like President Trump is picking the Chiefs to pull off the first NFL three-peat.
According to PFSN Chief Stats & Insights Officer David Bearman, the stats point towards Kanas City in this matchup.
Bearman states, “I’ve taken the Chiefs in every Super Bowl they’ve been in over the last six seasons and have gone 3-1, so why stop now? Hats off to the Eagles and their great season, but they haven’t won anything yet, unlike that team on the other side of the field.”
“The Chiefs may not have looked like world-beaters most of the season, but they end with the W anyhow. KC’s top wide receiver tears his ACL. Their star quarterback doesn’t have anywhere near his best season. The Chiefs’ star tight end is M.I.A. for most of the year. And what’s the end result? One loss (with a full roster) and another trip to the Super Bowl,” via Bearman.
Kansas City attempts to complete a three-peat, while the Philadelphia Eagles are thinking about revenge from two seasons ago.
