Dolphins Superstar Tyreek Hill Posts Cryptic Response to Trade Rumors Linking Him to Potential Playoff Team

Could Tyreek Hill be on the move? The Miami Dolphins superstar gave a direct hint about a potential trade to a former divisional rival.

With just two weeks left in the season, a lot of NFL players and teams are now looking ahead to the offseason. One such player seems to be Tyreek Hill with the Miami Dolphins on the verge of being officially put out of the playoff race. But, for Dolphins fans, it might be something to look away from as Hill once again sparked the rumors of a potential trade away from Miami.

Earlier in the year, rumors about a reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs were making the rounds, and for his part, Hill did no small favor in stroking those flames. Now, he’s back at it.

Tyreek Hill Seemingly in Agreement With Blockbuster Trade Idea

The Miami Dolphins first got Hill as part of a mind-blowing trade when the Chiefs decided to trade him away despite the pairing’s Super Bowl victory. In the long run, the decision has worked out well for K.C. as they have won the Super Bowl in both seasons since the trade (2022 and 2023).

For Hill, the individual success has been unparalleled as he’s slotted himself into Hall of Fame conversations. This year, he was the top-ranked player, including among the elite QBs in the NFL, as voted by other players in the NFL Top 100.

However, it might not be long before he has a new home.

Thanks to Tua Tagovailoa’s contract extension, the expense of the roster is creeping toward borderline impossible for Miami. As a result, tough decisions need to be made moving forward, and Hill could be a name on the move. With the team’s success — or lack thereof — over the last two seasons, the Dolphins might be open to the idea if it gets them a decent haul.

To add further drama, the team Hill might be interested in happens to be a former divisional opponent. With a newly acquired head coach in Jim Harbaugh and a Pro Bowl-level quarterback in Justin Herbert, Hill has the foundation to succeed in L.A.

Taking to his public Snapchat profile, Hill shared the potential trade idea on his story alongside the eyes emoji.

Despite a down year, Hill still has 834 yards on the year, a far cry from his peaks of 1,700 yards the last two seasons. That would stand just a little shy of Ladd McConkey’s 960 yards for the Chargers.

Pairing the two would make Los Angeles’ offense that much more potent as it finally starts to realize the potential Herbert has to offer. One thing for fans to consider, however, is that Hill is known to troll fans from time to time.

While it remains to be seen if there’s actual interest or if a trade gets made, Hill’s reactions could be another case of the superstar wide receiver messing with his fans.
