Dolphins’ $212.4 Million QB Tua Tagovailoa Drops 2-Word Appreciation Post for Wife, Annah

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sent a heartfelt Instagram message to his beloved wife, Annah, to start the offseason.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa appears to be enjoying the early part of the offseason, staying positive by posting feel-good messages on social media despite his team missing the playoffs in 2024.

Tagovailoa, who missed six games due to injury, garnered headlines on Jan. 31 when he professed his love for his beautiful wife, Annah. The happy couple got married back in July 2022 during a secret wedding ceremony in Davie, Fla.

Tua Tagovailoa Calls Annah ‘My World’ in Viral Instagram Post

Tua’s deep affection for his wife, Annah, has been a breath of fresh air in the sometimes jaded world of professional sports. He captioned a recent Instagram photo — one showing them standing next to each other, all smiles — with two simple words: “My World.”

Annah quickly answered him in the comments by saying: “I love you!”

Tagovailoa’s career has been a cautionary tale of how dangerous life can be for an NFL quarterback as he has suffered three diagnosed concussions in two years, plus another head injury from his college days at Alabama. The 26-year-old has been through the wringer yet continues to stand tall and lead the Dolphins.

Miami (8-9) nearly qualified for the playoffs in 2024, but a 32-20 loss to the New York Jets (and a Denver Broncos win) in Week 18 kept them out of the postseason party. Tagovailoa missed the final two regular-season games while dealing with a hip injury.

He saw action in 11 games for the Dolphins and threw for 2,867 yards and 19 touchdowns, including a league-best 72.9% completion percentage.

Tagovailoa isn’t naive to the fact that his injury history has become troublesome, mentioning that the number of games he’s missed over the past two years is an issue.

“Obviously, the concussions have been a thing and then just off of that, other injuries that have stacked up with the concussions to where I’m missing games … it is frustrating,” Tagovailoa told reporters, via ESPN. “That’s something to think about this offseason, that’s something to talk with the coaches and essentially it just falls on my plate, just protecting myself better and things that I already know.”

    Who Is Annah Tagovailoa?

Annah Tagovailoa (née Gore) was born in High Point, N.C., and attended Saint Gertrude High School and played field hockey. She is the daughter of Christina and Gary Gore, and her birthday is listed as June 11.

Annah and Tua married in a secret wedding ceremony on July 17, 2022, right before the start of the Dolphins’ training camp. They were undergraduates at the University of Alabama.

The couple has two children together — a son named Ace and a daughter named Maisey — but they prefer to keep their personal lives private.

“I mean, for me, I love to keep my life as private as possible and that’s what we tried to do with me, my wife, and my daily,” Tua said, via People. “But obviously in this world that’s not how it is. It’s almost kind of disrespectful by doing that but it is what it is. Can’t do anything about it. I have a wife.”
