Miami Dolphins Officially Release Xavien Howard — With an Interesting Designation
Although Miami’s decision to release Xavien Howard was reported several days ago, it was finally made official on Monday afternoon. To designate Howard as a post-June 1 cut, the Dolphins had to wait until the official start of the NFL’s new league year.

Tyreek Hill Recruiting Michael Thomas on Social Media
Despite the Dolphins signing Smith at tight end, Hill isn’t done trying to add talent to Miami’s passing attack. Hill took to social media on Wednesday night to recruit former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas.
Thomas has struggled to stay healthy in recent seasons but would offer a much different skillset than both Hill and Waddle. At 31 years old, Thomas isn’t going to blow by any defenders with his speed. Yet, he would offer the size and physicality the Dolphins currently lack at wide receiver.
