Details on Tony Pollard’s Brother, Who Went on To Play HBCU Football
Pollard wasn’t even the first athlete from his immediate family to play college football.
That distinction goes to older brother Terrion Pollard.
The eldest of the three Pollard siblings played prep football for Germantown High in the Memphis region. The Red Devils have been known to produce a consistent winner, with only five losing seasons since 2004, per MaxPreps.
Terrion played well enough to earn a spot with Lane College in the NCAA Division II realm. The Dragons, based out of Jackson, Tenn., are known for being a member of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Not much is known about Terrion’s receiving career other than he played for Lane in 2013 and 2014 per the school’s website. He was a towering 6’2′, 180-pound wide receiver at the HBCU. Lane College went 6-4 in 2013 but 1-8 overall the following season.

Terrion was also a part of a fraternity on campus, as he was a member of Omega Psi Phi on the Lane campus. He went on to graduate in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in science of business administration, management and operations.
Terrion’s alma mater is best known as the college alma mater of former NFL wide receiver and return man Jacoby Jones, who became a 2012 Pro Bowler with the Baltimore Ravens and helped guide the franchise to their last Super Bowl win in the 2013 season.
What Is Tony Pollard’s Brother Doing Now?
Terrion Pollard is now a college graduate who helps with the family business, Pollard’s Barbeque in Memphis.
Per his LinkedIn page, Terrion holds the middle management position for the family business, which includes night shift manager. He has been with his parents’ business for 14 years.
The family business has been featured nationally before. Good Morning Football on the NFL Network featured the business during the week of Oct. 9. ESPN also profiled the family venture in January 2023.
Now, the older brother has the luxury of watching his younger brother lead the Cowboys’ backfield as a 2022 Pro Bowler and the new RB1 for Dallas.
