    Do Players on Super Bowl Teams Participate in Pro Bowl Events?

    The Super Bowl stage is set. The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will square off to decide who will hoist the Lombardi Trophy and have the title of the NFL‘s best team of the 2023 season.

    Naturally, with the two final teams remaining, it takes a lot of talent to do so. That talent has earned them many Pro Bowl nominations to celebrate the excellent play of the great players for each of those two teams.

    Yet, will those players be able to participate in the Pro Bowl festivities since they’re in the Super Bowl? We examine closer to that situation.

    Do Players in the Super Bowl Play in the Pro Bowl?

    The short answer is no. If you’re playing in the Super Bowl, you have to forfeit your spot in the Pro Bowl as a result.

    Despite every player being grateful for the prestigious honor of being selected to the Pro Bowl, it’s a trade that most any player would tell you they would gladly make.

    Players will still be honored as Pro Bowl selections but will no longer take part in any of the festivities as they move on to the big game.

    Who Made It to the Pro Bowl for the Chiefs and 49ers?

    Seeing as though they are Super Bowl-bound, the Chiefs and 49ers are obviously loaded with talent. With that comes 14 Pro Bowl selections.

    Who Will Replace Them in the Pro Bowl?

    With additions remaining fluid for various reasons, there are still names to be sorted out ahead of the Pro Bowl festivities. Yet, here’s a known list of players who will specifically be joining the Pro Bowl action due to the players participating in the Super Bowl.
