DK Metcalf’s Fine History: A Look at How Much Money the Seahawks WR Has Lost in His Career

    Published on

When you play with the type of passion and energy DK Metcalf does, it might cost you every once in a while. In his case, more often than he'd like.

Who brings the energy quite like Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf? The fiery wideout is known for being a big physical playmaker unafraid to use his size and tell you about it in the process. In his five years in the NFL, Metcalf has built a reputation for being one of the toughest and most physically imposing players in the league.

However, that reputation has cost him much more than he probably would hope. His ability to bring emotion and spark a situation is well-known around the league, and it’s actually beginning to be something that other teams are looking to take advantage of at the moment.

Despite all of that, Metcalf has no plans of changing his style of play, no matter how much it costs him.

    DK Metcalf’s Fine History

Over the course of Metcalf’s career, he has been fined a grand total of 13 times. That amount has totaled over $170,000 he has had to fork over to the league. Six of those incidents have come in this season alone, and there’s still a month left to play in the year.

Thus far, in 2023, Metcalf has tallied $75,686 in fines. According to Spotrac, here is each incident as it occurred and what it cost him.
