The high-powered offensive units and fantasy football goldmines of the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and Philadelphia Eagles are all unavailable for this specific Sunday slate of afternoon games for DFS contests on DraftKings.
Here is a look at some of my DFS picks for Week 10 of NFL action.
Week 10 DFS Locks
Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions ($6,400)
The Detroit Lions passing has produced only one touchdown over the previous two games heading into their matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Fortunately, the Chargers-powered offense and vulnerable secondary could be the perfect recipe for QB Jared Goff to have a big fantasy day in Week 10.

The Chargers are giving up the most passing yards (286) and fantasy points (20.9) on a per-game basis to opposing signal callers this season. While the touchdown production hasn’t been there through the air in recent games, Goff has still thrown for a minimum of 272 yards in his last three games. If this turns into a shootout, Goff is a great DFS player at his current price point.
Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys ($7,300)
The 2023 campaign for Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard hasn’t been the breakout season many fantasy managers expected heading into this season. It’s hard to believe Pollard has scored a touchdown since the season opener, but the fact he hasn’t found paydirt in seven consecutive games is certainly noteworthy.
Fortunately, the last team he scored a touchdown against was the New York Giants, who the Cowboys are set to play in Week 10. The Giants will be starting rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito against the formidable Dallas defense, which could produce the perfect game script for Pollard to have a bounce-back performance.
His price point isn’t great, but if there was any matchup where the table was set perfectly for Pollard to have a big performance, it would look exactly like this.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions ($8,300)
Few WRs in the league provide a fantasy floor like Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. He has gone for over 100 yards receiving in over half of his games this season and is tied for second at the WR position with 11 targets on a per-game basis.
If you reference the case for selecting Goff earlier in this article, then St. Brown needs to be in your lineup against this struggling Chargers secondary. No Lions pass catcher stands to benefit more from this potentially high-scoring contest against a vulnerable defense than St. Brown.
Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Commanders ($3,800)
If we put the higher-priced options like St. Brown and Pollard into our DFS lineup build, then we need to go with a pay-down option at the TE position. Washington Commanders TE Logan Thomas looks like a great candidate to insert into your TE spot.

Thomas has seen a minimum of six targets in the last three games in a Commanders offense that has thrown the ball on average of more than 40 times per game over the last six contests. If Commanders WR Curtis Samuel cannot go on Sunday, then it could even give Thomas a small boost in target volume against the Seattle Seahawks.
Dallas Cowboys D/ST ($4,000)
I advocate for stacking your DFS fantasy running back and defense when the opportunity presents itself for an elite stack. This is one of those cases. The Cowboys’ defense generated seven sacks and two interceptions — including a pick-six — against this Giants offense back in the season opener with starting QB Daniel Jones under center.
Now, a rookie quarterback will be making his starting NFL debut under center for the Giants, which could produce more turnovers and sacks for this top-priced defensive option for the Week 10 Sunday DFS slate.
