DFS Monday Night Football Picks Week 10: Josh Allen, Javonte Williams, and Khalil Shakir Locks?

Looking for NFL DFS Monday Night Football Week 10 picks? Well, look no further! Here are the best potential plays for tonight's lineups.

The Buffalo Bills are in desperate need of a win to keep pace with the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East. Does this mean Bills QB Josh Allen is a must-start in our DFS lineup for the Monday Night Football matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 10?

    Let’s take a closer look.

Top MNF DFS Picks on DraftKings for Week 10

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills ($18,900) – Captain

To quickly answer the question I just asked above … Yes, Allen feels like a no-brainer option to play in this prime-time game. It really doesn’t take a very big sales pitch to select Allen as the captain of the DFS Showdown team on DraftKings. After all, he is currently the QB1 overall in fantasy, with 24 total touchdowns through the first nine games of the season.

And while this Broncos defense doesn’t feel like the same unit that gave up a 70-spot to the Miami Dolphins earlier this season, most aren’t ready to call them a top defensive unit quite yet. They’ve still given up an average of 251 passing yards per game this season and only have 17 sacks on the season.

If they don’t heat up Allen in this contest, expect a big day from the Bills signal-caller.

Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills ($4,400)

Don’t look now, but the Bills may have found themselves a definitive answer to who their third wide receiver should be for the remainder of the 2023 season. Khalil Shakir has pieced together two solid outings, with 10 receptions on targets for 149 yards over the last two games.

If Shakir continues his trend of seeing over 65% of the offensive snaps against the Broncos, then he could be in line for another productive day.

Gabe Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills ($7,400)

Remember when I said Shakir managed to put together two straight solid outings? Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Bills WR Gabe Davis. Just one week after catching nine passes for 87 yards and a score against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Davis failed to catch a pass last week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The price point for Davis certainly represents the boom or bust capabilities for his range of outcomes, but with a dinged-up Stefon Diggs getting some shadow treatment from Pat Surtain, Davis could be in line for more work than usual in Week 10.

Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos ($7,000)

It may not always be pretty, but Broncos WR Courtland Sutton has managed to be a consistent fantasy producer in 2023. His 46 targets, 380 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns all led the team through the first half of the season.

If the Broncos fall behind in this contest, look for Sutton to continue to see plenty of work against a banged-up Bills secondary.

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos ($7,200)

Some fantasy managers may find it tough to trust Broncos RB Javonte Williams, but you can’t really argue that his recent usage is definitely going in the right direction. After missing the team’s Week 5 game against the New York Jets, Williams has seen his carries increase over the last three games, which peaked with a career-high 27 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.

Sure, a positive game script contributed to that, but Williams’ involvement in this Broncos backfield in recent weeks certainly makes him a great buy on this DFS slate.

    Buffalo Bills Defense ($5,000)

The Bills defense has consistently done one thing very well this season: get after the quarterback. The Buffalo pass rush ranks inside the top five in both sacks and quarterback hits this season.

Why does this matter? Well, because Broncos QB Russell Wilson has been sacked 26 times this season and leads the league in pocket time among QBs with more than three starts, which is the average time a quarterback has the ball between the snap and either throwing the ball or being pressured.

If the Broncos fall into a negative game script, the Bills could get to Wilson on multiple occasions in this contest.
