Danielle is a 2021 graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge. No one knows when the couple started dating, but they went public with their romance last year and later had a baby girl.

They made the announcement about their daughter in a June 2023 Instagram post.

“To our unborn you were made with so much love. We’re so thankful God blessed us to be your parents. You have so much love for you already it’s indescribable. We know the journey will not be easy but it’ll be an amazing story to tell. Mommie and DaDa cannot wait to meet you. See you soon baby girl🤍.”

Smith and the Eagles are having a fantastic season. The Eagles are 12-3 and are about to wrap up the NFC East and could still claw for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Smith has 713 yards and six touchdowns so far this season.

NFL fans were excited to hear about Smith’s announcement and shared their thoughts on X.

“Black Love thank you,” said one fan.

“Beautiful family,” another fan reacted to the growing family.

Coming out of Alabama, Smith was one of the most sought-after players in college football. The Heisman winner was the first wide receiver to win the award since Michigan’s Desmond Howard. During his Heisman season in 2020, Smith had over 1,500 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns.

Also that season, he posted four games with 11 or more receptions, including a career-best and SEC title-game record 15 against Florida, 13 at Mississippi, and 11 each against Georgia and Mississippi State. He recorded seven games with over 100 yards receiving (all with at least 144 yards), including 231 yards on eight catches at LSU, 203 against the Bulldogs (which included a season-high four TDs), and 184 yards against the Gators.

Smith had six games with at least two TD receptions, three coming at LSU and two in the SEC title game. Smith also returned a punt for a TD for the first time in his career, going 84 yards at Arkansas in the regular-season finale.

Smith was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year that season and was the 10th overall pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2021 NFL Draft, which united him with former Alabama teammate and quarterback Jalen Hurts.
