“They Ain’t Using You Right” — Devin White and DJ Moore Clip Goes Viral Amid Bears Drama

    Published on

The newest twist for the Chicago Bears now involves DJ Moore and his usage -- how did Devin White contribute to the conversation?

In one of the oddest 24 hours involving the Chicago Bears in recent NFL memory, there’s another new twist that surfaced during their game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This time involving what was supposed to be one of their top free agent additions.

Conversation Between Devin White and DJ Moore Captured, Fueling New Controversy

Already dealing with the resignation of defensive coordinator Alan Williams and quarterback Justin Fields clarifying his remarks about the Bears’ coaching, now there’s DJ Moore lured into the Bears’ bizarre week.

The wide receiver and former Carolina Panthers 1,000-yard target is seen having a conversation with old NFC South rival Devin White. But, it’s one where Moore ends up agreeing to White’s take on how the new Bears WR is being used.

White is overheard saying, “They ain’t using you right.”

Moore, though, is caught saying, “tell me about it.”

Is Moore Not Being Used Correctly?

This is considered a surprised admission judging off his last game. Moore, in tracing back to the Week 2 loss to the Bucs, was one of the few bright spots with six catches for 104 yards and averaging 17.3 yards per catch.

However, through two games, he’s only at eight receptions this season and 129 yards. Plus he’s yet to score his first touchdown as a Bear.

And he’s on a Bears offense that hasn’t produced much so far in 2023. Here’s how Chicago’s offense has gone:

    • Allowed 10 sacks of Fields.
    • Only averaging 213.5 yards through the air.
    • Has scored just four touchdowns.
    • Finally, the Bears have averaged just 273.5 total yards per game.

Even national NFL analyst Doug Farrar of USA Today is one who is asking why Moore isn’t being utilized on schemes where he’s capable of busting the offense open.

Moore’s overheard admission adds to what’s been a rather tumultuous week involving the coaching staff and franchise quarterback.

Williams stepped down citing a focus on his health. However, his name was attached to the bizarre social media report indicating an FBI raid at the Bears’ facility and his house.

Fields, meanwhile, ended up clarifying comments that pointed to him throwing his coaching staff under the bus over the play-calling. Fields mentioned how it “could be coaching” as to the reason behind his early struggles. However, he spent Wednesday trying to clarify his remarks.
