    Broncos Playoff History FAQ

The Broncos are already one of the more accomplished franchises in the NFL with multiple postseason highlights to their credit. Here’s everything you need to know about the team and its history in the playoffs.

What’s the Broncos’ Playoff Win/Loss Record?

The Broncos’ all-time playoff record is 23-19, with all of their appearances coming in the post-merger era.

How Many Times Have the Broncos Been to the Playoffs?

Not including this season, the Denver Broncos have made the playoffs on 22 occasions in franchise history, with all those appearances coming in the post-merger era.

How Many Super Bowl Appearances Do the Broncos Have?

The Denver Broncos have made it to the Super Bowl eight times, with many of those appearances coming during dominant stretches in the 1980s and 1990s.

How Many Super Bowls Have the Broncos Won?

It took the Broncos a while to find success in the Super Bowl, losing in their first four appearances. However, they’ve fared much better over their subsequent four trips, winning three Lombardi Trophies during that span.

Those three victories account for all of the Broncos’ Super Bowl titles.

When Was the Last Time the Broncos Made the Super Bowl?

The Denver Broncos won their last Super Bowl in 2015, when the Peyton Manning-Von Miller duo led them to a victory in what was the Big Game’s 50th edition.

Until just a couple of years prior, the franchise had been mired in an extended Super Bowl slump. Since 1998, when Terrell Davis and John Elway were running roughshod over the league, the team hadn’t made it back to the Super Bowl.

But, a trade for the illustrious Manning changed that trajectory. Soon after acquiring him, they made it all the way to Super Bowl XLVIII before falling woefully short to the Seattle Seahawks.

However, two years later they returned to the title game and soundly defeated the Carolina Panthers, 24-10.
