Deiondra Sanders — the daughter of Coach Prime and half-sister of top 2025 NFL Draft prospect, quarterback Shedeur Sanders — and her fiancé have made an effort to keep Christmas alive by organizing a Christmas event at Towers High School.
Deiondra Sanders, Fiancé Jacquees Host Heartwarming Christmas Event
Deiondra is a daughter from Deion’s first marriage with Carolyn Chambers. She is one of two children he has from that marriage along with Deion Sanders Jr.
Deiondra and her fiancé Jacquees helped organize a Christmas event at Towers High School on Saturday. She posted several photos from the event on her Instagram, showcasing how much fun the kids were having. Additionally, she posted a video that showcased a kid having a lot of fun dancing. It had the caption:
“Dance contest was lit!”
Also as part of the event, the Sanders family donated gifts and supported their community.
Deiondra’s Half-Brother, Shedeur Sander, Preparing for NFL Career
While Deiondra is busy keeping the Christmas spirit alive in her community, her half-brother Shedeur is preparing for his final college football game. He will play in the Alamo Bowl against the No. 17-ranked BYU Cougars. Once that game is finished, he will begin preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Sanders has blossomed into one of the best quarterbacks in college football while playing for his father, Coach Prime, at Colorado. As a result, he is widely viewed as one of the best quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft class alongside Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward.
Both players are expected to be drafted early in the 2025 NFL Draft, with Pro Football Network’s most recent mock draft having Sanders and Ward go first and second, respectively; Sanders and Ward were drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants, respectively. Both teams have had poor seasons and will have high draft picks. Additionally, both are in need of young quarterbacks.
However, it is not clear yet who will be drafted where with so many variables left before the NFL Draft. Teams will get a chance to look at both players at the NFL Scouting Combine which starts on Feb. 27.
If one of those QB-needy teams ends up with the first overall pick, there is a decent chance that Sanders could go at the top of the draft. If that is the case, he will get the largest rookie guaranteed contract of anyone in his draft class. The first day of the draft is on April 24.
