Dan Orlovsky Makes Bold 2025 Draft Prediction, Names 2 Teams Deion Sanders Won’t Entertain for Shedeur Sanders

    Published on

Former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky made his thoughts clear about Deion Sanders' plan for his son Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur Sanders could be among the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, and with the performances he’s been putting up, well deserved so.

However, since he’s a prodigy to a former NFL star, many analysts and fans assume Coach Prime has a major hand in determining where the Colorado quarterback will end up.

Reacting to The 33rd Team’s 2025 NFL Draft that predicted Shedeur to be picked by the Cleveland Browns as the No. 2 overall choice, analyst Dan Orlovsky said, “There is a 0% chance Deion lets Shedeur get drafted by Cleveland …

    “Cleveland/Carolina will not happen.”

Deion Sanders Reveals His Plan for Son Shedeur Sanders

During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Nightcap” podcast, Coach Prime talked about a similar situation he might have to deal with during the NFL Draft to save his son from being picked by mediocre teams.

He said, “[I’ll pull an] Eli, a Lavar Ball, a LeBron [James]. … I’m pulling all of them. Honestly, we’ve talked about it ostensibly; I’ve talked to a multitude of [NFL] teams because they’re at practice every day, but I want what’s best for him, but I want him to be happy as well.

“You don’t get to dictate where your son gets to go because there’s a draft process, but you know us, you know how we are. We know who ain’t trying to win in the NFL, you know, who’s consistently in the basement year after year. You don’t want that situation for your kid or family members.”

Mel Kiper Heaps Praise on Shedeur Sanders

Many talented quarterbacks are entering the 2025 NFL Draft, including big names like Carson Beck, Quinn Ewers, Dillon Gabriel, and others.

Kiper made a case for the Colorado star to be the top quarterback from the lot on ESPN’s “First Draft”:

“I’ve been thinking about this for weeks now, you take Shedeur Sanders, put him at Georgia, how would he do? If you took Shedeur Sanders and put him in Texas, how would he do? If you took Carson Beck and put him in Colorado, how would he be looking right now? If you took Quinn Ewers and put him at Colorado, how would he be looking?”

Fans would be interested to see how Deion and his son Shedeur handle the draft situation and steer the course of his pro career.
