The son of Coach Prime, Deion Sanders Jr., released a collection of photos to X (formerly Twitter) highlighting the journey his brother, Shedeur Sanders, has been on over the past couple of years. The post showed the nostalgia setting in for Deion, as the Colorado Buffaloes, the team coached by his father and led at quarterback by his brother, had just finished up their final game of the campaign this past week.
Though in theory, it’s possible, it’s unlikely that the whole Sanders family will be on the same roster in the NFL. As a result, last week’s Alamo Bowl may have represented an ending of era of sort.
What Did Deion Sanders Jr. Post to Social Media about Shedeur Sanders?
In the early morning of Dec. 31, Deion Sanders Jr. posted a collection of photos showing numerous stages of Shedeur’s football career.
“wish we could go back in time bro,” he captioned the post.

Then, almost immediately after releasing that post, Deion Jr. reposted his own post with another caption.
“The best has yet to come though…. Never Quit Never Die,” he added.

Where Will Shedeur Sanders Be Drafted?
While there is still one more week of football to be played in the NFL regular season, the New England Patriots currently occupy the top draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Although the NFL is unpredictable, it seems unlikely that the Patriots would draft another quarterback after taking Drake Maye with the No. 3 overall pick last year.
Instead, Pro Football Network’s Dalton Miller believes that Sanders is a strong fit with the New York Giants in his recent 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
“The New York Giants’ situation isn’t so bad, depending on how one feels about Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen. They finally have some semblance of weaponry on the outside, their offensive line isn’t a complete disaster when healthy, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. has some juice out of the backfield.
“Shedeur Sanders is the most accurate passer in the class by a fair margin. While he certainly tends to hold the ball to let plays develop in the intermediate areas of the field, he’s also shown more than enough ability to operate the quick game while also having the chutzpah to push the ball downfield, which has been sorely lacking in New York during the Daniel Jones era.”
