Coach Prime's oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., is seemingly intrigued by the possibility of visiting Earth's outer atmosphere.

The Sanders family is known for their celebrations, effectively embodying the meaning of “Prime Time.” Heralded as the filmmaker for the Colorado Buffaloes, extensively recording behind the scenes of the Boulder, Co.-based team, Coach Prime’s oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., has taken up numerous ancillary pursuits. He took this adventurous spirit to new heights as he reshared a post about going into outer space, for a price.

Deion Sanders Jr. Intrigued by the Prospect of Visiting Outer Space

Sanders seemed intrigued by an Instagram post uploaded on Jan. 4, detailing how outer space enthusiasts can take a trip above Earth’s atmosphere.

“Space Balloon lets you visit outer space for $125,000,” the wording on the picture of the post read.

The caption on the upload detailed: “Space Perspective, which calls itself the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceflight company, is already selling seats in Spaceship Neptune, which is lofted by a balloon and lands by parachute. … On Sept. 15, 2024, its uncrewed test vehicle completed a full flight profile, taking it to approximately 100,000 feet — above 99% of Earth’s atmosphere — during a six-hour journey. After the test flight, it descended slowly and splashed down into the ocean.”

The company has already sold 1,800 tickets, and one more could be on its way to being sold as Sanders reshared the post on his story alongside the caption:

Sanders’ Other Recent Social Media Activity

Going to outer space could just be the thing for Sanders, who might want to bring the 2024 Buffs along for the ride, as he is seemingly emotional about his brothers, Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, potentially leaving Boulder next season for the NFL. On Jan. 3, he posted a vlog, titled, “The Last One The Family Is ALL TOGETHER – I’m Trying Not To Cry.”

The video featured Colorado’s game against BYU in the Valero Alamo Bowl, which unfolded in the Cougars’ 36-14 victory. However, even though Colorado’s 2024 campaign ended in anticlimax, if Sanders Jr. does decide to take a trip to the outer atmosphere of the planet, it will make for a great story, one that might overshadow his younger brothers following in Coach Prime’s footsteps and preparing to take a leap to the NFL.

In Pro Football Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft, Shedeur Sanders was drafted at No. 2 by the Tennessee Titans, who finished Week 18 by securing the No. 1 pick. Sterling Xie had Sanders as the first QB off the board, so a Sanders-to-Tennessee connection is still possible.

“Sanders’ accuracy would be a welcome change from the quarterback play that Nashville, Tenn., has seen the past two seasons,” Xie wrote. “Sanders brings more of the playmaking ability that Levis has flashed, but without the frequent disasters that accompany Levis’ playing style.”

In PFN’s latest seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft, Jacob Infante had the Las Vegas Raiders drafting Shilo Sanders with the 216th pick at the top of the seventh round. However, it should be noted that Shedeur was also selected by the Raiders in the first round, projecting that the two could be drafted by the same NFL team.
