Coach Deion Sanders has had a lot going on recently. The head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes has quickly transformed the program and the face of college football during his first season in Division I. The Buffaloes have been must-see TV from the opening game to their last two contests against perennial Pac-12 powers, the Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans.
Sanders has taken college football by storm and has everyone in college football talking. He has an interesting past, and his worlds collided this weekend as his current girlfriend, Tracy Edmonds, met his ex-wife, Carolyn Chambers Sanders.
How Did the Meeting Go?
The two women in Coach Prime’s life over the years seem to get along quite well. Edmonds took to Instagram to share a picture of the two with the caption, “It’s always ALL LOVE with beauty,” and she copied Sanders’ ex-wife Carolyn Chambers in on the picture. It’s nice to see current and past relationships able to get along as mature adults.
Fans React to Tracey Edmonds' Adorable Message for Coach Prime. She wrote-
Go Buffs!! @cubuffsfootball You fought hard today and we are SO PROUD of you!! 💪🏽👊🏽🙌🏽 Meet the PRESIDENTS of the #CoachPrime @deionsanders and the @deionsandersjr fan clubs! Love My Girl @itsbritt26! pic.twitter.com/Hjq44duWT7

What’s Next for Colorado?
There is no rest for the weary as the Buffaloes head on the road to face the Arizona State Sun Devils. Colorado has gone through a gauntlet lately, facing top 10 programs in the Ducks and Trojans in back-to-back weeks.

The toughest part of the Colorado schedule is behind them as Sanders and the team look to reclaim their momentum.
Answer your call & respond to the challenges of life. You're called to do so much more than what you're doing & u must step up & take on the challenges you're faced with head on. Now is the time. Go Go Go. #CoachPrime

Sanders’ son, Shedeur Sanders, continues his stellar play. The Buffaloes were down big to USC but never gave up and fought back to make it a one-score game. Sanders has earned justifiable acclaim and is a realistic candidate for the Heisman Trophy award.
With acclaim comes heightened expectations, and it will be fascinating to see if the younger Sanders can live up to the hype for the remainder of the 2023 college football season.
Will Sheduer Sanders Go To the NFL?
Sanders could head to the NFL. No player in college football has seen his draft stock rise more rapidly than the Colorado QB. Sanders’ ascension has been the talk of college football in 2023, but not everyone, including his father/head coach, is prepared to see him take his game to the next level.
.@RealSkipBayless says Shedeur Sanders outperformed Caleb Williams in loss to USC:
“You want to talk about clutch gene? Shedeur’s got the clutch gene. The later it gets, the more accurate he gets. His intangibles are off the charts.” pic.twitter.com/Ta8HQTuQnN

Coach Prime recently commented that Shedeur and his brother will remain in Colorado past the 2023 season. Unfortunately for Coach Prime, the decision isn’t entirely his.
If the NFL Draft committee gives Sanders an early first-round grade, the Colorado QB may weigh his options and opportunities at the next level.
