Latest Fantasy Injury Updates
Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Heading into Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, WR Davante Adams had been battling a shoulder issue, but he seemed solid and suited up to play. In the first quarter, Adams sustained a massive legal hit from Jabrill Peppers, causing an interception. Adams looked shocked and left the field under his own power to be evaluated.

Adams was back on the field with the offense for the next drive. He finished the day with five targets for 29 yards, but it was an odd game, with Jimmy Garoppolo leaving early to head to the hospital to be evaluated. Brian Hoyer took over under center, and the Raiders pulled out the win over the Patriots.
Monitor Adams this week, as concussion symptoms can come on later in the week. Hopefully, he is good to go for a juicy matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 7, and even if Garoppolo is not back on the field, backup Hoyer should still be able to get Adams to fantasy relevance. If Adams cannot go, expect more targets to go toward Jakobi Meyers.
Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers star WR Deebo Samuel exited Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after nine snaps and spent the second half on the sideline in street clothes watching his team lose. He left the game with only one target.
Samuel was ruled out with a shoulder injury, and X-rays at the facility were negative, which was an initial good sign. He underwent an MRI on Monday, and he seems to have avoided serious injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan reported Monday that Samuel is day-to-day.
With Christian McCaffrey also battling his own injury, the Niners need Samuel to bounce back quickly. Look for TE George Kittle and WR Brandon Aiyuk to step up next week against the Minnesota Vikings if Samuel is limited in any way.
