Dallas Goedert Injury Update: Latest on Eagles TE After Week 10 Injury vs. Cowboys

    Published on

Here's the latest on Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert after he sustained an injury against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert briefly exited the club’s Week 10 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys due to an injury. Here’s the latest on the tight end’s status.

    What Happened to Dallas Goedert?

Goedert visited the blue medical tent along the Eagles’ sideline near the beginning of the second quarter.

While it’s unclear when Goedert was injured — or what type of injury he may have suffered — he was Jalen Hurts’ target on an end-zone attempt that Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs intercepted.

Goedert caught one pass for 11 yards before being evaluated in the tent.

The veteran tight end missed Weeks 7 through 9 with a hamstring injury, so Sunday’s game represented his return to Philadelphia’s lineup.

Did Goedert Return in Week 10?

Fortunately, Goedert returned to the field on the Eagles’ next offensive drive. He appears to have avoided a significant injury.

Goedert barely made contact with any Dallas defender on Hurts’ interception, so it seems unlikely he was being evaluated for a concussion.

He might have suffered a sort of aggravation to his existing hamstring injury, but that’s just pure speculation.

Goedert finished with two catches for 25 yards and a touchdown.

After the game, Eagles head coach talked about Goedert’s touchdown but didn’t mention his injury, so it doesn’t seem significant.
