Is the Dallas Cowboys’ OL Getting Healthy?

During a press conference before practice, Mike McCarthy said that Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz would work in practice more, and Tyron Smith would work exclusively with the rehab group.

A small portion of practice was open to the media on Thursday.

Biadasz and Martin were seen stretching and doing individual drills during practice, but Smith was not on the field for the second day when the media was viewing practice.

    Cowboys Injury Report

There is still a question about who will be available come Sunday, but it is a good indication that Biadasz and Martin dressed and participated more.

    Thursday’s injury report shows:

    • Biadasz (hamstring), Martin (ankle), Chuma Edoga (elbow), and Tony Pollard (rest) were limited participants.
    • Smith (knee) did not participate.

    Zack Martin

Martin has been dealing with an ankle injury sustained in Week 2 of the season.

On Wednesday, he worked exclusively with the rehab group and was seen working with Britt Brown on the resistance ropes.

    Tyler Biadasz

Biadasz popped up on the injury report last week for a hamstring injury during practice.

Yesterday at practice, he was also seen working with Britt Brown on resistance ropes.

    Tyron Smith

Tyron Smith is dealing with a knee injury sustained during Saturday’s practice ahead of the team’s Week 3 matchup with the Cardinals.

This is the second day Smith was not seen at practice by the media, leaving a big question as to who can fill in for him if he is unavailable on Sunday.

    CeeDee Lamb and DeMarcus Lawrence

Both CeeDee Lamb and DeMarcus Lawrence popped up on Wednesday’s injury report for rest days.

There is no injury with either of them, but this is done to preserve them for a long season, not because of concern.

McCarthy said rest days are a “great place to be” because allowing them to rest certain players speaks to where both of them are in their careers.

The team trusted their numbers, players, and medical staff to decide rest days.
