Dallas Cowboys Practice Report
Wednesdays are typically the team’s veteran rest days, but the team is still healthy overall.
During a press conference, head coach Mike McCarthy said Tyron Smith, who is dealing with a neck injury, would work with the team’s rehab group today.
He also mentioned that Chuma Edoga, who is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered during Sunday’s game against the Rams, would be limited at practice.
However, both offensive linemen participated in the team’s morning walkthrough on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan it was “more than likely” that Smith would be available for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
Smith has an injury history that has prevented him from playing an entire season since 2015. However, Smith had noted neck injuries in the 2018 and 2020 seasons.
Despite the optimism for Smith’s availability on Sunday, the ultimate decision for him not to play was a last-minute medical decision.
Chuma Edoga
Since the decision was to keep Smith inactive on Sunday, Edoga was active for his sixth game this season.
Edoga ended up going down late in the game with an ankle injury. He limped off the field and was helped by the medical staff. He was eventually carted to the locker room and didn’t return to the game.
After the game, Edoga left AT&T Stadium alone and had no boot or brace on.
