Cowboys Cheerleaders Set To Receive New Show on Netflix

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is set to showcase one of the team’s best-known acts on Netflix. Greg Whiteley will direct and produce the show and was behind Cheer and Last Chance U.

“To their infinite credit, the Cowboys offered unfettered access for the year we filmed the DCC and left us alone,” said Whiteley to NBC DFW. “The result is an authentic portrait of one of the most storied and beloved institutions we have in American pop culture.”

Caitlin Clark Jersey Outsells Entire Cowboys Team

According to the New York Daily News’ Dick Weiss, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark’s jersey sales have outpaced the Cowboys.

“Caitlin Clark sold more Fever jerseys in one day than the Cowboys sold last year for the entire team,” Weiss posted.

Clark, 22, was drafted with the first pick in the WNBA Draft on Monday. She has been a part of record-breaking women’s basketball viewership numbers and has played in front of many sellout crowds during her collegiate career. Future WNBA games that feature the Fever have skyrocketed in price.

Dallas Has Biggest Need at RB

Pro Football Network’s Dallas Robinson lists the Cowboys as one of the teams with a need at running back. Not only has Dallas not addressed the position this offseason, but the team lost starting running back Tony Pollard to free agency, leaving the Cowboys in need of a starter.

“The Cowboys failed to re-sign RB Tony Pollard this offseason, leaving Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, and recent free agent addition Royce Freeman as the club’s top three backs entering the draft,” Robinson said.

“Dallas needs reinforcements at WR, along the offensive line, and on defense, but Jerry Jones might need to use a Day 2 pick on a running back.”

Tyler Smith Could Earn More Money at LT

Following his rookie season at left tackle in 2022, Tyler Smith was strong at left guard last season. Smith was an All-Pro as an interior offensive lineman, but he could potentially make much, much more in the future if he slides to the left.

“The Cowboys need offensive line help this offseason, and Tyler Smith is their skeleton key. He could stick at left guard after earning second-team All-Pro honors in 2023. However, Smith could also shift to left tackle to replace Tyron Smith if Dallas finds a left guard starter in the draft.

“The 10 highest-paid offensive tackles earn an average salary of $19.464 million. The guard market exploded this offseason, but the 10 highest-paid left guards still earn $15.125 million on average. Tyler Smith should want to become Dak Prescott’s blindside protector.”
