The Cowboys’ injury report is as clean as they could have hoped for heading into the postseason.
The only player listed as questionable for Sunday is Cooper Rush, who was added to the practice report on Friday with an illness.
If a backup quarterback is needed in the game and Rush isn’t available, the team could activate Trey Lance. However, Lance has yet to start a game this season, so Rush’s availability would be ideal.
CB Stephon Gilmore
Good news for Stephon Gilmore, as he is projected to start on Sunday.
On Friday, he was still limited at practice, which was expected. All week, McCarthy has emphasized that Gilmore would get more work in during Saturday’s practice.

The cornerback was spotted working and was back in practice on Thursday, which upgraded him to limited participation for the first time this week.

Earlier this week, McCarthy said he expected Gilmore to practice wearing a shoulder harness and get a feel for it ahead of Sunday.
The cornerback is dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered against the Commanders, when the joint popped out of place. However, he has remained optimistic about his return even after the win over Washington.
OL Tyler Smith
Tyler Smith continues to work through a torn plantar fascia. But Smith and the coaching staff have remained optimistic about his progress.
Smith did more at practice this week and worked with pads during Thursday’s practice.

The team will need its starting offensive line in this game to have the best chance at finding success and avoiding the Packers’ pass rush.
