Dallas Cowboys Injury Report: 7 Players Listed as Questionable for Sunday

What are the latest injury updates and game projection statuses before the Dallas Cowboys head to FedEx Field to play the Washington Commanders?

The Dallas Cowboys are days away from their last regular-season game against the Washington Commanders.

But there are multiple players listed as questionable ahead of Sunday.

Friday was a walkthrough for the Cowboys, and they will have one more practice on Saturday before departing for Washington.

Dallas Cowboys Projected Game Status and Injury Report

    Questionable for Sunday:

    • Tyler Biadasz (Illness)
    • Dorance Armstrong (Ankle)
    • Chauncey Golston (Illness)
    • Johnathan Hankins (Knee/Ankle)
    • Malik Hooker (Ankle/Illness)
    • Tyler Smith (Foot)
    • Juanyeh Thomas (Illness)

An illness seems to be going around the Cowboys’ locker room once again.

Biadasz popped up on the injury report for the first time on Friday and is now listed as questionable for Sunday. If he isn’t available, Brock Hoffman could step in at center.

    Full participants:

    • RB Rico Dowdle (Ankle)
    • OT Chuma Edoga (Illness)
    • DE Junior Fehoko (Knee)
    • RB Hunter Luepke (Thigh)

    Limited participants:

    • DE Dorance Armstrong (Ankle)
    • DT Johnathan Hankins (Ankle/Knee)
    • S Malik Hooker (Ankle/Illness)

    Did not participate:

    • C Tyler Biadasz (Illness)
    • DE Chauncey Golston (Illness)
    • G Tyler Smith (Foot)
    • S Juanyeh Thomas (Illness)

    OL Tyler Smith

Smith has not participated in practice all week as he is dealing with a plantar fascia tear in his foot.

On Friday, Mike McCarthy said that Smith is making progress and had a good rehab day.

Ultimately, Saturday’s practice will determine his availability for Sunday.

Earlier this week, he was seen at practice working on resistance ropes with Britt Brown, which is typical for players working with the team’s rehab group.

Smith tore his plantar fascia late in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.

If Smith isn’t available, it seems that Chuma Edoga would step in at left guard.

Despite the team signing La’el Collins to the practice squad this week, McCarthy said he didn’t see Collins being available this week.

McCarthy explained it wouldn’t be fair to have Collins play on Sunday as he barely had his first day in pads on Thursday.

The head coach said they have to be practical with him and his return.

It seems that his addition to the practice squad was done out of precaution for the playoffs, not Sunday’s game.

    DT Johnathan Hankins

As for Hankins, McCarthy said he is hopeful the veteran can practice tomorrow and be “ready to go” for Sunday.

Hankins returned to practice this week for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 15, which is a good indication that he could be available for the game.

But his participation on Saturday will also determine his game status.
