The Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line could return to semi-normal for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.
With the Cowboys heading into Week 4 of the season, the team has yet to have all of their starters on the offensive line, and it seems that may be the case again this week.
From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!
Dallas Cowboys Injury Report
During a radio hit on 105.3 The Fan, head coach Mike McCarthy said Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz were “definitely making a lot of progress.”
During a conference call on Friday, McCarthy said the guard and center participated in the team’s mock game on Friday, and he felt “optimistic” about their availability for Sunday.
The coach said they would need to pass the threshold of getting more work during Saturday’s practice to determine their availability fully.
As for Tyron Smith, he said the tackle worked with the rehab group again on Friday.
Friday’s injury report and projected availability shows:
- Zack Martin, Tyler Biadiaz, and Peyton Hendershot are listed as questionable for Sunday.
- Tyron Smith is officially ruled out for Sunday.

Tyron Smith
Tyron Smith will not play on Sunday as he did not participate in practice all week.
He is currently dealing with a knee injury during Saturday’s practice ahead of the team’s Week 3 matchup with the Cardinals.
Expect Asim Richards to take his spot at left tackle since Chuma Edoga has been dealing with an elbow injury that he sustained in Week 2.
Although Edoga is expected to play, it would make sense for the team to preserve him and allow Richards to take the majority — if not all — of the snaps on Sunday.
Zack Martin
Martin has been dealing with an ankle injury sustained in Week 2 of the season.
On Wednesday, he worked exclusively with the rehab group and was seen working with Dallas’ director of rehabilitation Britt Brown on the resistance ropes but was upgraded as a limited participant on Thursday.
If Martin can’t play on Sunday, T.J. Bass would fill in at right guard like he did last week in Martin’s absence.

Tyler Biadasz
Biadasz popped up on the injury report last week for a hamstring injury during practice.
On Wednesday, he worked with Britt Brown on resistance ropes with Martin. But he was upgraded as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

If Biadasz is unavailable, it will be interesting to see what the team does since Brock Hoffman was elevated from the practice squad three times already.
The team has an open roster spot after releasing linebacker Devin Harper on Thursday, so Hoffman could be part of the 53-man roster if this is the case.
