Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott signed a massive record-breaking contract extension before the season following an impressive 2023 campaign. But his play on the field is just one part of the success he is currently seeing.
Off the field, Prescott and his fiancĂ©e, Sarah Jane Ramos, welcomed their first child in February 2024. Let’s take a look at who Prescott’s fiancĂ©e is and what their relationship timeline looks like.
Dak Prescott’s Relationship Status Changes
According to her X (formerly known as Twitter) page, Ramos is a native of Tampa Bay, Florida. This helps explain her decision to pursue higher education at Florida State University (as per her LinkedIn). The proud Seminole alumna (and fan) earned a bachelor’s in criminalistics and criminal science.
But it doesn’t seem like Ramos has worked in any form of law enforcement since obtaining her degree.
Instead, she parlayed the skills (like personability, multi-tasking, and knowledge of liquors — which she gained working as a bartender at a Marriott Hotel in Tallahassee from 2015-17) into a role as an on-premise area manager for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, a prominent distributor for numerous retailers in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Ramos notes financial/business analysis, distribution logistics, pricing strategy, and negotiation as skills she’s been able to fine-tune in this particular position. Her LinkedIn page says she still holds it, though one imagines that even if that’s accurate, it’s also likely finite.
Ramos and Prescott welcomed their daughter, Margaret Jane, to the world in February 2024, and based on their post, the couple is ready and eager to take on the responsibility of parenthood.

“MJ Rose, Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer,” read a recent post on Ramos’ Instagram page, featuring the couple with the newborn and a picture of Prescott in the hospital during delivery.
“Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you. Love, Mom & Dad.”
While the comments on the post were turned off, Prescott made a post in July showing some of the adventures the trio has been up to since MJ’s birth. They have been very active, taking their daughter with them, with pictures at a baseball game, in the city, and even at the beach.
Prescott captioned the post “Moments & Memories [red heart emoji],” with Ramos commenting, “Our beautiful life [white heart emoji] I love you so much!”
Although Prescott is usually quite private about his personal life, he has opened up a bit more on social media about his current girlfriend. When Ramos posted an image of herself at a game celebrating her 30th birthday, Prescott was caught wishing her the best in the comments.
“So much to Love in this post! Welcome to 30 club my love,” Prescott wrote.
On October 18, Prescott revealed that he had proposed to Ramos with a golf-themed surprise.

“Yeah I’m super excited,” Prescott said (via Dallas Morning News). “I’ve known it obviously for a while. Yeah, I mean, I guess I went into the season saying I was going to do it probably the holidays or something but, you know, wanted to do it away from the holidays, make it a little bit more special. Yeah, I got the ring a few months ago. Set it up with a couple friends. She had no idea.”
Prescott reportedly spent a whopping $1 million to personalize Ramos’ 10-karat diamond. Prescott enlisted the services of Jason of Beverly Hills to find the wedding band of Ramos’ dreams, Us Weekly reported.
“In my business, there are high maintenance clients and then there’s Dak,” Jason of Beverly Hills CEO Jason Arasheben said. “Dak was so easy to work with and was very intentional with every detail of this ring.”
“[He was] involved in every aspect and really wanted this to be a ring she would love,” Arasheben said. “He wanted something classic but with a little flair and that’s exactly what we did.”
