Dak Prescott is recuperating from his injury along with enjoying his offseason. However, his teammate Micah Parsons’ brother is fighting battles on behalf of the quarterback.
Terrence Parsons Jr. highlighted the negative bias that the media seems to have when it comes to the QB of “America’s Team.” He suggests a similar benchmark is not being applied to other superstar QBs in the league.
Micah Parsons’ Brother Suggests Dak Prescott Gets Unfair Treatment
Terrence hasn’t shied away from speaking his mind on the internet, he has even called out the Cowboys. Hence, it should not come as a surprise that he isn’t afraid to highlight the media’s different standards for different QBs.
After the Buffalo Bills got eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs, one of the Cowboys fan pages on X (formerly Twitter) hinted at the issue of the media narrative.
“Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson welcome to year 8 without a ring should their teams move off them?” the user tweeted.
Allen and Lamar Jackson have spent seven years in the league after being drafted by their teams in 2018. However, both of these talented QBs have yet to put their hands around hardware.
Parsons replied to the fan page’s assertion and spoke his mind. “The media will never say it unless it’s dak prescott it’s sick,” he tweeted.

This was the ninth season of Prescott’s career in the NFL, and like Allen and Jackson, he too has zero rings on his fingers. It will be interesting to see if Allen and Jackson are grouped in with Prescott going forward or the Cowboys QB once again becomes center of attention.
Prescott’s Role in the Hiring of Brian Schottenheimer
Dallas made Prescott the highest-paid QB in the history of the NFL earlier this season. Hence, it should not come as a surprise that the 31-year-old’s preference played a part in the elevation of Brian Schottenheimer from the offensive coordinator role to head coach.
While several analysts have criticized the hiring, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler explained on SportsCenter why Schotty was the best choice for the Cowboys.
“[Schottenheimer] had a lot of support in the building, not just with Jerry Jones,” Fowler said. “People at the top really value the relationship they built with Brian Schottenheimer. And the sense around the league is that this is a Dak Prescott hire.”
“Dak Prescott likes Schottenheimer in the offense and the chemistry they have together. He likes the continuity that he brings. So, it’s kind of just running it back in a lot of ways.”
