Cowboys Legend Michael Irvin Sends ‘Joker’ Hall of Famer Unfiltered Message

Michael Irvin is not only a bona fide Dallas Cowboys icon but an NFL legend. However, no one could’ve imagined the former wide receiver hitting back at a fellow Hall of Famer.

Irvin called out the legendary Terrell Ownes for suggesting that he is a better WR than him. The three-time Super Bowl champion didn’t hold back in pushing Owens’ achievements to the ground.

Michael Irvin Responds to Terrell Owens’ Claim of Being a Better WR

Recently, Owens appeared on the “It Is What It Is” podcast, and the host wanted to know whether Owens considers himself better than Irvin. The former San Francisco 49ers man agreed that statistically, he’s far ahead of Irvin, despite Irvin’s Super Bowl wins.

Irvin played 12 seasons in the NFL — all of them with the Cowboys — and registered 11,904 yards and 65 touchdowns in 159 games. Owens, on the other hand, played 15 seasons in the NFL (three with the Cowboys). He registered 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns in 219 games.

The five-time Pro Bowler shared his disagreement with Owens and the hosts of the show by taking to X (formerly Twitter) and posting his response in a video with three Cowboys championship belts.

“Check it out, Cam, Ma$e, Stat and TO, and all you jokers that didn’t win these,” he said. “These things are heavy. These are just my Dallas Cowboys stuff.”

“Don’t make me get my Miami and my St. Thomas stuff. All this s**t is heavy. Y’all don’t know nothing about this though. Y’all been punching but been landing on air.”

Irvin Wants the Cowboys Back to Their Former Glory

Irvin lobbied for Deion Sanders to take the head coach job at the Cowboys for a long time. However, after being unsuccessful, the Cowboys legend wants the locker room to pull up their socks and get back to the glory days of yesteryears.

“All you jokers on the football field, it’s on you, man,” Irvin ranted on his eponymous podcast. “I don’t give a damn who it is, man. It’s on you.”

“Everything we put all our hearts into the building, what that is, that franchise is, and holding it up to what it is that franchise is, it’s your f***ing turn. Man, do something, man.”
