Cowboys fans have had enough, and Troy Aikman just gave them more fuel for their fire. The legendary QB called out the franchise’s never-ending Super Bowl drought, and fans are now chanting for him to take over the front office.
Aikman has the rings, the football IQ, and the blunt honesty that the Dallas Cowboys might need.

Troy Aikman Sounds Off, Cowboys Fans Fire Back
Aikman didn’t hold back. The Cowboys legend voiced his frustration over Big D’s three-decade-long Super Bowl drought, admitting he once believed they’d be back on top, but here they are, still waiting.
“I thought we would be backed, but obviously, we weren’t. But not only were we not backed, but here we are asking three decades later, and no one’s been backing,” Aikman said.
And just like that, Cowboys fans erupted.
Some believe Aikman should be running the show. “Should be the GM. He actually knows when enough is enough,” one fan declared, frustrated with the team’s stagnation.

Another doubled down, arguing Aikman should’ve taken over two decades ago. “If so, we’d have another 5 Super Bowls,” they claimed, echoing the belief that the Cowboys have squandered championship opportunities.
Troy should have been given the GM role with full control 20 years ago.

But not everyone blamed Aikman’s absence from the front office.
One fan pointed directly at the Cowboys’ QB situation, saying, “Until they draft a high-grade first-round QB, don’t expect anything going forward.” Given the team’s struggles in the postseason with Dak Prescott, it’s a fair critique.
Of course, some reactions were more humorous.
One fan took a playful jab at Aikman’s confidence, comparing him to another Cowboys great. “Troy Aikman is standup and my guy, BUT I don’t know whose noggin is bigger—his or Jimmy Johnson’s.” A friendly debate, but Aikman’s resume speaks for itself.
Others went straight to the root of the problem. “Troy, we can all say it—the biggest problem is and will continue to be Jerry and Stephen Jones.” It’s the age-old debate with the Cowboys: is ownership holding the team back?
Then there was the ultimate dose of sarcasm. “I think Dallas is doing a bang-up job on this 30-year rebuild. Trust the process.” That one stings.
Bottom line? Aikman spoke, and Cowboys fans made it clear — they’re tired of waiting.
Troy Aikman Offers Tom Brady Advice on Super Bowl Broadcast Debut

Tom Brady knows Super Bowls damn well. But this year, he’ll be calling the action instead of making it. And according to Aikman, that’s a whole different ballgame.
“For anyone who’s played in a Super Bowl, to say, ‘Well, yeah, it’s like any other game’—they’ve not played in it because it’s not,” Aikman said. The Hall of Fame QB, who’s been in the booth for years, knows firsthand how the bright lights change everything.
Aikman pointed out that Brady might have one advantage: experience. “I played in three, I don’t think you can ever play in enough Super Bowls to where all of a sudden it just becomes another game. Tom Brady might be that one guy, who can say that.”
With seven rings to his name, Brady’s spent more time in Super Bowls than some franchises. But calling the game is a whole new challenge. The pressure, extended halftime, and non-stop adrenaline make the broadcast booth a different beast.
Brady may be one of the greatest to play the game, but now, he’s stepping into Aikman’s territory. Will he rise to the occasion? We’re about to find out.
