Cooper Kupp and his elite-level talents are now up for grabs following his release from the Los Angeles Rams. The former third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, who played a critical role in the Rams’ recent success, even winning Super Bowl MVP in 2021, has departed Los Angeles despite expressing his desire to stay with the team that drafted him.
The former Triple Crown winner and 2021 Offensive Player of the Year is set to turn 32 in June. After dealing with multiple injuries and the effects of aging, his numbers have steadily declined over the past three seasons, ultimately leading to his release.
However, the star receiver nor his wife, Anna Kupp, believe his time dominating the league is over. Anna took to Instagram to share her thoughts on her husband’s departure from the Rams.

Cooper Kupp’s Wife Posts Inspirational Message on Instagram
Anna Kupp has been Cooper’s biggest supporter for years. When All-Pro became a free agent, she wasted no time letting the world know how lucky any NFL team would be to have him. Anna posted a picture of her husband in a Rams uniform, followed by this caption on her Instagram Story:
“Wherever we go, wherever we land, is going to be so f*ing lucky to have you in their building. You have the ability to turn the tides of any organization you step foot into.”
She continued:
“The man that you are, the leader that you embody, the brother on and off the field. The standard you hold yourself to and bring others along in your pursuits. People want to be better because of who you are and how you conduct your business.”
“The joy and passion you exude in your preparation and execution is contagious. I am so excited for the impact you will have in these coming years, the relationships waiting for you, and for you to continue to tear apart your opponents. To the moon, my King.”
Anna wasn’t the only Kupp to address the news. The star receiver posted on X:
“Next chapter starts now. Best is yet to come.”
Eight years of incredible memories.
We talked often about the Rams being back in LA and how we would grow to be something special here. And there was frustration early on around getting the buy in from the people of LA.

It’s clear that neither Kupp nor his wife believes his best football is behind him. Can Kupp prove that age is just a number?
The History of the Kupps’ Relationship
Anna was by Kupp’s side before he became a Super Bowl champion and NFL superstar. The two began dating in 2012 while attending different high schools in Washington state.
“I knew that she was the one that I wanted to marry when we had first met back in high school,” Cooper told ESPN. “I told my mom the day I met her, ‘I’m going to marry this girl.’”
Cooper stayed true to his word. The couple got engaged in 2014 while attending different colleges. After the engagement, Anna transferred from Arkansas to Eastern Washington so they could be together while Kupp made a name for himself on the football field. One year later, the couple officially became “The Kupps” when they married.
The next team Kupp joins will be a significant turning point as the couple prepares to celebrate a decade of marriage this summer.
Anna has been right by his side through every stage of Cooper’s career. Now, as Kupp enters the next chapter of his football journey, it’s clear that Anna will remain a constant presence in his story—both as a wife and as his biggest fan.
