Right now, Shedeur’s Spotify profile lists just one other track, “Perfect Timing,” which was released on April 28, 2024.

Sanders Prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft

As we march toward the NFL Scouting Combine, Sanders is considered neck-and-neck with Miami’s Cam Ward. However, there has been some noise recently surrounding Ole Miss signal-caller Jaxson Dart, especially after his Senior Bowl performance.

Sanders was at the East-West Shrine Bowl but didn’t participate. His brother and safety Shilo did, however.

According to our scouting report written by Jacob Infante, Sanders has many strengths to his game, including, but not limited to, the following:

    • “Offers acceptable velocity with some nice zip behind his throws.”
    • “Capable of delivering strikes into tight windows.”
    • “Hits receivers in stride outside of the numbers with good speed and accuracy.”
    • “Has a sharp internal sense of timing behind his throws.”
    • “Naturally accurate passer who has good touch down the field.”

    However, there are some weaknesses:

    • “Not a bad athlete for a quarterback, but he’s not as athletic as he thinks he is.”
    • “Has a tendency to hold onto the ball too long instead of hitting the check-down or throwing the ball away.”
    • “Lateral agility or breakaway speed with the ball in his hands is generally pretty average.”

Infante completes is scouting report saying, “Sanders arguably has the highest floor of any quarterback in the class, and he has the tools to become a solid starter in the NFL. In the right system, he could lead a team to a playoff run.

“Because of average physical tools, the ceiling likely does not go much further than that. However, a respectable starting quarterback is a valuable asset in today’s game, which should see him selected with a top-10 pick come April.”

    Potential Sanders Landing Spots

As Infante mentions, Sanders could easily make the top 10 or potentially the top five.

Several teams in the top 10 need a quarterback, including the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, and maybe even the New Orleans Saints.

The Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick, which could be Ward, leaving numerous other spots for Sanders.

Sanders has been seen wearing Giants-themed cleats, but at the time, they had the No. 1 overall pick, so he was perhaps more lobbying to go No. 1 overall than definitely wanting to go to the Giants.

There are also connections between him and Tom Brady, who is heavily involved in the Raiders’ team-building as a part-owner.

Many scenarios favor Sanders eventually becoming a top-10 pick. We’ll see how he does at the Combine and Colorado Pro Day.

Until then, fans of Shedeur have his new track, “LIFE,” to listen to.
