‘Gets What He Wants’ – Coach Prime Getting Requests Fulfilled on Live TV Amuses NFL Fans

Coach Prime made an odd request during Tuesday night’s NBA game between the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets. During the broadcast, Deion Sanders took to social media and jokingly expressed how he wanted the blazer worn by commentator Greg Anthony.

During a break in the game, the television crew presented the blazer to Coach Prime’s son and top NFL prospect, Shedeur Sanders, who was in attendance for the contest.

As a result of this now-trending moment for the Sanders family, people have started discussing Deion and Shedeur’s future on social media.

    Coach Prime’s Viral NBA Moment

Deion Sanders took to X and posted the caption, “I need that Blazer that @GregAnthony50 has on tonight on @NBAonTNT.”

In response, the NBA on TNT crew had fun with the tweet and delivered the blazer to Shedeur Sanders.

In response, one social media user made clear that Prime Time always gets what he wants.

“Coach Prime gets what he wants!” they detailed.

Next, one individual pointed out that Shedeur was in Dallas for the game, which they think may be telling about his NFL future.

“This is some great marketing content…We all now know that Shedeur is IN Dallas. Seeing is believing. 👀 Could it be?” another user said.

Finally, one person expressed how they hoped Sanders would wear that blazer to his Cowboys introduction press conference.

“prime better wear that to the press conference when they announce him as the new cowboys head coach,” they stated.

Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders Future Outlooks

Rumors have intensified over the past week about Prime Time becoming the Dallas Cowboys’ newest head coach. It was reported and later confirmed by Sanders himself that he and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had a phone call to discuss the possibility of the Colorado Buffaloes HC becoming Dallas’ newest head man.

While various things must occur before that, the prospect of Sanders coming to Dallas has become much more real this week.

For Shedeur, he is expected to be one of the first players taken in this April’s NFL Draft. In Pro Football Network’s latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Sanders was selected No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns. Citing his strong arm, accuracy, and ability to move around the pocket, PNF’s Alan Goldsher detailed how Sanders’ NFL comparable was Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow.

Only time will tell where Deion and Shedeur will be next season, but both individuals have remained in the public eye.
