Cincinnati Bengals Injuries Headed Into Week 5
Starting cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt returned to the practice field and was in uniform with his helmet, while starting wide receiver Tee Higgins came out in shorts and a t-shirt and headed toward the rehab field.
Taylor-Britt suffered a shoulder injury in the first half Sunday, but he returned to play after going into the locker room early for halftime. Shortly after returning, he suffered a concussion while colliding with teammate Myles Murphy as they were tackling Derrick Henry.

Higgins suffered a fractured rib in the first half and did not return. Higgins sounded optimistic about playing this week while speaking with reporters Monday, but after missing back-to-back practices, it’s looking as though that will not be the case. That would present another challenge for quarterback Joe Burrow as he tries to overcome his calf injury and shaky start.
Higgins joined linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither on the rehab field. Davis-Gaither missed Sunday’s game with a knee injury suffered in practice Sept. 22.

UPDATE: Brown and Smith were listed as full participants, while Taylor-Britt was limited with the concussion.
Starting cornerback Chidobe Awuzie suffered a back injury in practice and was listed as limited. Awuzie had been getting Friday rest days as he closes in on the one-year anniversary of his ACL injury, but this is the first time he has appeared on the report for a specific injury.
