    Bengals’ Darrin Simmons Weighs In on Kickoff Rule

    Simmons spoke at length on Tuesday about the NFL’s new kickoff rule. He discussed the reasoning behind the move, which was led by the essential disappearance of the kickoff returns as a whole.

    Return rates were absurdly low, which wiped out an entire phase of special teams. The new rule should incentivize kickoff returns and increase the rate drastically in 2024.
