PFN Bengals Podcast: Is Joe Burrow Back?
On this week’s episode of the PFN Bengals Podcast, we review how Cincinnati brought its season back from the brink with a 34-20 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Burrow, who still appeared hindered by his calf strain over the first month of the season, seemed far more comfortable in the pocket and outside of structure. What does that mean for the Bengals’ offense moving forward?
And what about Chase, who set a franchise record with 15 receptions and scored three touchdowns in Week 5? Chase was the focal point of Cincinnati’s offense with Tee Higgins sidelined by a rib fracture, but Arizona’s defense had no answers for the third-year playmaker.
Plus, what about Lou Anarumo’s defense? Trey Hendrickson generated plenty of pressure, and Cam-Taylor Britt managed a pick-six to give the Bengals a halftime lead. But Cincinnati still gave up chunk plays through the air and on the ground.
